ROCK CITY MORGUE: 'Dark Days' Ahead
March 26, 2004ROCK CITY MORGUE bassist Sean Yseult (ex-WHITE ZOMBIE) has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"The new record, produced by J. of WHITE ZOMBIE and mastered by Daniel Rey, will be out this month — the record is available on C.D. and 10" vinyl. It is titled 'These are Dark Days', and features the highly requested track, 'Disconnected'. Please go directly to Antidoterecords.net to purchase, or to find out where to purchase it!
"The MORGUE will be having a record release party on April 23rd at the highly anticipated opening of 'One Eyed Jacks' in the French Quarter. Besides being a very special night for the MORGUE, the opening of this club marks the resurrection of the two great clubs recently shut down in New Orleans — the Matador and the Shim Sham. El Matador owner Rio Hackford is the new owner of the space that was formerly the Shim Sham, so rock bands, burlesque queens, cocktailers and freaks of all nature will finally have a home again! There will be record giveaways at the show, so come early!
"Also: just when you thought it was safe to go see a movie: the staff at ROCK CITY MORGUE are having 2 songs from 'Some Ghouls' featured in director Steve Sessions' next b-horror film: 'Dead Clowns', starring Brinkie Stevens and Debbie Rochon, both b-movie icons. The film will be out in mid-2004, and will be distributed through Cryptkeeper Films UK. Steve Sessions' last film was 'Cadaver Bay' and the MORGUE staff gave it two cold blue thumbs up. 'Get out of my House' and 'Falling Apart' will be the featured songs in the film."
